School Colors

The colors of the school emblem have a hidden meaning that one must understand, like all other patterns in Kosho Ryu Kempo Karate.

 

WHITE         The color White stands for Purity.

BLACK        The color Black stands for Strength of the Temple.

RED              The color Red stands for “Blood lost for Peace”.

ANIMALS

There are five animals within the art of Kosho Ryu Kempo Karate. Each one teaches a different strength.

DRAGON     Teaches BODY strength.

TIGER          Teaches BONE strength.

LEOPARD    Teaches INNER and OUTER strength.

CRANE         Teaches HIDDEN or SPRITUAL strength.

SNAKE         Teaches BREATH strength.

Training

We train in three different levels in the art of Kosho Ryu Kempo Karate.

PHYSICALLY     We train physically by training our bodies to be strong yet flexible.

MENTALLY        We train mentally to be able to store all the knowledge we are taught and to understand the                                       sometimes hidden meanings behind some movements.

SPIRITUALLY    We train spiritually to develop the soul.
